Patrik Selin

Patrik Selin is one of the pioneers of the online poker industry and was the President & CEO of Ongame, one of the industry’s biggest success stories with both the then largest poker network, Ongame Network, and a then major poker operator, pokerroom.com. At Ongame, Patrik Selin made a number of decisions to make the company more transparent and fair; he introduced responsible gaming and he initiated annual reporting by stock market standards despite being privately owned. Bwin’s acquisistion of Ongame in 2006 is still one of the biggest acquisitions the industry has seen.

Patrik Selin loves poker and has played in a number of major events, including EPT, WPT, and WSOP. He finished in the money in the WSOP Main Event in 2006, and he has reached two televised final tables in Europe.
